  1875 Nov.29 Doshisha Eigakko (Academy) established with eight students and two teachers; Neesima and J.D.Davis
1876 Sep. The first two school buildings constructed on the Imadegawa campus
1883 Feb. School regulations of Doshisha established
Neesima named first chancellor
1884 Apr. Neesimafs second visit to Europe and the US
  Sep. Shoeikan, the first brick building on campus, constructed (designated as an important cultural property)
1886 June Doshisha Chapel constructed (designated as an important cultural property)
Yushukan 1887 Nov. Doshisha Hospital and Kyoto Training School for Nurses established
