外観 1、2階の東､南､西の三面にめぐらせたバルコニーが特色です｡窓はガラス戸の外に木製のよろい戸を取り付け､上部に和風の障子欄間がはめてあります｡新島が住んでいた頃は､東のバルコニーからは大文字山がよく見えたといいます。 General viewCharacteristically the house has balconies on its first and second floors. Glass windows are sheltered by louver boards, and lattice-work on the upper part. In Neesima’s days he had a good view of the Daimonji Hill on the eastern balcony.—6—
