茶室 新島の死後､八重は1階洋間を改造して｢寂中庵｣を作りました。この茶室は､会津出身の八重が新島の死後に､洋風の生活から純和風の生活へと回帰していったことを物語ります。 Tea-roomAfter Neesima’s death, Mrs.Neesima reformed a Western-style room on the first floor into a tea-room and named it Jakuchu-An(“Arbor of Solitude”).
